Kendra joined the ZGA team in November 2020. She is a geologist in training and supports our environmental group with her work on Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater monitoring, and environmental cleanups (in situ remediation and remedial excavations). Kendra also supports our geotechnical engineering group through geotechnical subsurface investigations, construction monitoring, and laboratory testing.
Kendra is a California native and appreciates being outdoors and is fascinated by science and the natural world. While studying at UC San Diego, Kendra was introduced to Earth Science and became intrigued by geology. She sought to combine her love of the outdoors with a career in geology and moved to Seattle in 2013 to earn a Master’s degree in Applied Geosciences from the University of Washington. She has integrated to life in the Pacific Northwest and spends most of her spare time exploring the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. Kendra enjoys getting her hands dirty in the field while working in scenic parts of Washington. When not working, Kendra enjoys scuba diving, hiking with her two dogs, photography, traveling, gardening, crafting, and cooking.
